Thermal Roof Inspection Mississauga
Infrared roof scanning for commercial and industrial properties across Mississauga and Peel Region. Detect trapped moisture, wet insulation, and thermal anomalies before they become costly repairs.

Mississauga's industrial corridors and commercial districts hold some of the largest flat roof inventories in the GTA. Distribution centers along Airport Road, manufacturing facilities in the Dixie-Dundas area, and commercial plazas throughout the city all share a common vulnerability: trapped moisture that goes undetected until it causes serious damage.
Water infiltration through failed seams, punctures, or deteriorated flashing saturates insulation beneath the membrane. This wet insulation loses its thermal value, increases energy costs, and eventually leads to interior leaks. Our drone-based thermal inspections reveal this hidden damage before it spreads.

How Thermal Roof Scanning Works
Weather Coordination
We schedule for optimal conditions: 48+ hours without rain, sunny day for solar loading, clear evening, wind below 25 km/h.
RGB Survey
Daytime flight captures high-resolution imagery showing surface conditions, ponding, debris, and visible damage.
Thermal Survey
After sunset, we capture thousands of infrared images as the roof releases stored heat, revealing moisture patterns.
Analysis & Reporting
We process both datasets, trace anomalies in AutoCAD, calculate affected areas, and deliver your complete report.
Typical Timeline: On-site 1 to 2 hours (RGB) + 2 to 4 hours (thermal) | Report delivery: 5 to 7 business days
Commercial-Grade Thermal Systems
DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Thermal (M3T)
Integrated thermal and visual sensors with RTK positioning for centimeter-level accuracy. Efficient scanning for mid-size commercial roofs.
DJI Matrice 400 with H30T
Heavy-lift platform for large warehouses and industrial facilities. Extended flight time and advanced thermal payload handle Mississauga's largest roof systems.
32-Bit Radiometric Processing
All thermal data captured as calibrated radiometric files and processed into georeferenced maps with actual temperature data you can analyze.
Mississauga Commercial and Industrial
Logistics & Distribution
Warehouses and distribution centers with large roof footprints
Manufacturing
Industrial facilities with process heat and complex roof penetrations
Commercial Property
Multi-tenant retail and office properties requiring documented conditions
Roofing Contractors
Thermal data supporting repair proposals and warranty claims
Mississauga Coverage
We serve commercial and industrial properties throughout Mississauga. Operating from nearby Oakville, we handle NAV Canada coordination for Pearson Airport airspace efficiently as part of every project.
Also Serving
For large industrial facilities, we travel throughout Southern Ontario.

Thermal Roof Inspection Mississauga
How much does thermal roof inspection cost in Mississauga?
Pricing varies based on roof size, complexity, and deliverables required. Contact us with your building's approximate square footage for a custom quote. Thermal scanning typically costs a fraction of the repairs it helps you avoid or target precisely.
How long does the inspection take?
On-site work runs 3 to 6 hours: a daytime RGB flight (1 to 2 hours) followed by an evening thermal survey (2 to 4 hours depending on roof size and resolution requirements). Processing and report delivery takes 5 to 7 business days.
What weather do you need?
We require at least 48 hours without rain, a sunny day to heat the roof (solar loading), clear evening conditions, and wind speeds below 25 km/h. Weather is monitored closely and backup dates are scheduled for every project.
Do you work near Pearson Airport?
Yes. Much of Mississauga falls within controlled airspace around Toronto Pearson International Airport. We hold the certifications required for these operations and coordinate with NAV Canada as part of every project. Airspace approvals are handled seamlessly with no delays or complications for you.
What types of roofs can you inspect?
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs with membrane systems produce the best results: TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, and built-up roofing. We regularly scan warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, and retail plazas throughout Mississauga.
Can thermal imaging detect all moisture problems?
Thermal imaging reveals moisture that has accumulated in roofing insulation over time. It is highly effective for identifying areas of trapped moisture but may not catch very recent leaks that have not spread. We recommend verification core samples for critical repair decisions.
What certifications do you hold?
Craig Holland is a Level II sUAS Certified Thermographer with Transport Canada Advanced RPAS certification. Holland Productions holds RPOC authorization for complex operations and carries $6.25 million in commercial liability insurance.
How is drone thermal scanning better than walk-over scanning?
Ground-based thermal scans capture data at an angle, which introduces distortion. Our drone approach captures imagery straight down (nadir), perpendicular to the roof surface, producing more accurate readings. We also cover the entire roof systematically rather than spot-checking specific areas.
